By bringing EcoPure™ to the PET bottle industry, ENSO Bottles™ has created
the only “truly” biodegradable PET bottle in anaerobic, aerobic and compostable environments without compromising clarity or quality.  ENSO bottles are covered in the MSDS and made only
from FDA recognized materials which
are deemed "food grade".

We offer this specially formulated additive as well as a broad range of PET Plastic preform gram weights, neck finishes and blown bottles in almost any shape and size.

The biodegradable process expands the molecular structure of the plastic, altering the polymer chain and adding nutrients and other organic compounds which weaken the polymer and attract microbial activity (creating an irresistible morsel). This activity subjugates in and around the plastic, and begins to quickly break down the plastic. Most plastic products on the market today cannot attract enough (if any) microbial activity to begin breaking down the polymer's molecular structure, thus leaving the process of reclamation to light, heat, mechanical stress and moisture.

Our products maintain the same physical properties (shelf life, texture, clarity, appearance, oxygen transfer rate, etc) as traditional PET plastic bottles, however, once ENSO bottles are placed in a landfill "microbial" environment our bottles break down into bio-gases and bio-mass.

We specialize in creating ENSO preforms and blowing those preforms into finished bottles. Customers with in house blow molding machines will find the process of blowing ENSO preforms into high quality bottles similar to that of standard PET preforms, without modifications to current equipment.

ENSO preforms can be blown into almost any shape or size of finished bottles. To optimize bottle blowing costs, we organize the blowing of bottles in the vicinity of the customer’s location. The production of bottles from PET plastic can be done in a One Stage Process or Two Stage Process. One Stage Process:
PET preforms are produced and blown into bottles in one and the same production-line.

Two Stage Process:
PET preforms are being produced on a separate production-line and afterwards blown into bottles on another machine.

The advantage of a two stage process yields a higher output per unit time, and enables the geographic distribution of preform and bottle production. Transport costs and environmental impact with shipping preforms is significantly lower than shipping the same quantity of blown bottles.

Companies with in house injection capabilities will find our specially formulated EcoPure™ additive a turnkey solution to creating biodegradable ENSO bottles.  The additive is added during the injection phase with no needed modification to current equipment or process.
